Born and bred in the African bush of Zimbabwe, I grew up having a strong affinity with wildlife and I began drawing and painting them - as well as African people as a child. I stopped for some years when going through life's joys of college, and then working in the corporate world, and after becoming a parent I felt something missing for the longest time!
I finally picked up my passion again after living abroad for more than 2 decades, as well as commissioning works for my family - specifically my father who wrote numerous books about Africa.
I find that bringing animals to life on canvas helps me feel close to home and I love sharing my passion with the rest of the world!
